by Mandy Pagano HAPPY NEW YEAR! Welcome to 2018!
It's a fresh page, blank canvas. The next 365 days lay before you wide open. What will you make of them? Do you have a desire for something in the new year? A task you want to accomplish? A group you'd like to join? Go for it! Keep in mind that sometimes when we have a burning in our soul for something, that burning is there so we can be the ones to blaze the frontier. Sometimes what we're searching for isn't there because it's up to us to create it. Looking for a Bible study group? Maybe it's time to open your doors and start your own. Looking for a community where you can share freely and feel safe? Maybe it's time you start being that safe place for others. Are you seeking a Bible class that digs deep and intrigues you? Volunteer to lead one at your church. Looking for someone to hold you accountable? Maybe it's time that you extend the invitation for someone to hold you accountable. Do you see where I'm headed? Perhaps it's our time to be the trailblazers, the innovators, the ones who step up first. We certainly don't have to reinvent the wheel, and sometimes we will find what we're searching for. But when we don't, and we've diligently sought, it can mean it's our turn. Don't be afraid! Don't shy away from the opportunity! There is immense reward and blessing in stepping outside our comfort zone to create a space others may also be searching for. God used many, many people and 66 books of the Bible to tell His story. There is room for one more in service to Him. You could be an answer to prayer! Someone right now is seeking the very thing God may be placing on your heart to provide! Not sure how to get started? Stick around! She Heard's new workbook will be out soon and it tackles this very thing...how to share Jesus and provide a place for others to get to know Him. In the meantime, I would like to share my own experiences here to encourage others who would like to step out but aren't quite sure how. Stay tuned! I look forward to getting to know this community better. xoxo, Mandy |
