WHAT WE BELIEVE
The women of She Heard believe in the Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7). Jesus was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:27, Isaiah 7:14), lived a life without sin (2 Corinthians 5:21, Hebrews 4:151 John 3:5), was crucified for our sins (John 19:18, Luke 23:33, Mark 15:25), died (John 19:34) and rose again on the third day (John 20). Because of the fall of man in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3), man and woman will never be good enough by deeds or actions to be worthy of Heaven (Romans 3:23, Romans 3:28). Jesus paid the sacrifice for our sins, once and for all (Hebrews 7:27), and that those who believe in Him and confess that Jesus is Lord with their mouth will be welcomed into Heaven when they die (Romans 10:19).
The Bible, Holy Scripture, is the infallible Word of God and was written by man under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21). Answers to questions in life are found in the Bible and through prayer and being in the Word regularly, we can receive guidance through the Holy Spirit (John 1:1, 14; John 6:68).
Baptism is not mandatory for Salvation, but is an outward, public demonstration of our faith and a symbol of being born again (Ephesians 2:8-9).
The Lord Jesus Christ is alive (Acts 1:9-12) and will one day return to gather His Church to Himself (Matthew 24:30-31). Until that time. we are to faithfully and obediently GO and share the Good News with others (Mark 16:15).
