​Melissa went to school to be a journalist, so she loves a good story. By far, though, her favorite story is the one of her Savior, Jesus Christ, and His redeeming grace. It’s a story that she feels every women – well, really every person! – should hear over and over. Born and raised in the Midwest, she still makes her home amid the cornfields with her husband, Michael, her two boys (ages 11 and 7) and a 3-year-old Beagle-Lab mix rescue pup. Navigating the calamity and chaos (and sometimes even the calm) of real life as a wife and mom, she finds some comfort in Diet Coke, dark chocolate and a good book. It's a seemingly ordinary life that has become extraordinary as she strives to live each day with Jesus at the center of it all.
