What is a Curated Bible?
A Curated Bible is a Bible in the translation of your choice that has selections of Scripture highlighted, noted, and marked corresponding to different topics (anxiety, fear, joy, sorrow, grief, faith, change, the attributes of Jesus, etc.) according to the receiver's preference/stage of life. Each highlighted/marked section will be catalogued (on a separate card) with page number for easy discovery.
If certain selections of Scripture are highlighted or marked, is that taking the Bible out of context?
Absolutely not. The Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God, free of error. The highlights are merely to draw attention to Scriptures pertaining to specific, topical information.
What will the highlighting look like?
Different methods of highlighting will be used including soft crayon-like highlighters, bleed-free highlighters, and fine-point underlining. Bible journaling stickers will be used to add emphasis. Styles and colors vary depending on the receiver. Various other items will be employed such as paper clips, book marks, ribbons, etc.
Who is a Curated Bible for?
Anyone! Especially since there are a variety of Bibles available today that are tailored toward every age and stage, a curated Bible is a good fit for anyone, at any stage of life.
How will you decide what to highlight or mark?
I will send you a detailed questionnaire that will help me narrow down what stage of life you (or the receiver, if this is a gift) are in and what areas you are hoping to focus on spiritually.
How does the process work?
If you'd like to move forward with a Curated Bible, you simply click the "Begin Curation Process Now" button. I will send you the questionnaire, determine the window of time the Bible is needed in, translation preferred, age appropriateness, topics to focus on, stage of life, etc. Because this is a personalized process, and each Bible is curated on an individualized basis, the process can take multiple weeks. I will determine if I am able to meet your deadline and let you know upfront.
How will I get the Bible once it's completed?
Upon completion, I will package and ship the Bible to the address provided for shipping (on the questionnaire). There is an option to include a note from you if this is a gift.
Do you have a refund policy?
I want you to be happy with your curated Bible, so I will work with you to meet and exceed your expectations, however because of the personalized nature of the item, all sales are final.
