​Cherie, wife of Pastor Bill Bailey of Journey By Grace Church in Belle Vernon, PA, is a native Buckeye. Cherie became a Christian as a child. She graduated from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana and pursued her Masters in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary, Ashland, Ohio. Cherie served as the Administrator of Ashland Christian School for 8 years and was the appointed Director of Human Resources for the City of Ashland for 16 years. 

Most recently, Cherie was a featured speaker at the What's Your Story? Women's Conference in 2014 and the Authentic Conference in 2015. Most of all, Cherie rejoices in the blessing of "family" in her life; her own son and family, Bill's children and grandchildren, and the awesome Royal Family of God! Cherie says that she is blown away by God's grace that brought her through life chapters that she would have gladly deleted because He knew they would result in life chapters blessed beyond what she could think or imagine...
