We've arrived at Friday! The weekend is right around the corner! How is your reading going? These sections of scripture can be very tedious, but there is so much to be gained from pressing forward! God's Word never returns void. so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 I've said it many times, but I {Mandy} think it bears repeating...this reading plan is not a race. The schedule is set to make reading more manageable and to read it chronologically, but stop when the Lord tells you to stop. Meditate on the passage you feel led to meditate on. Life happens. God isn't surprised when we get caught up in the day-to-day or the surprise crisis. He can and will still meet us on the pages of scripture, even when we're still on Monday's reading and everyone else is on Friday. Press in and onward, friends. These words we're reading are the love letter left behind by our Heavenly Father. THIS is what He wants us to know and think about and ruminate on. I'm praying for you all this morning. Praying that you will continue on, even when it's tough, even when it's tedious, even when you don't understand, even when life throws you curve ball after curve ball and you can't seem to catch up. If you have any prayer requests, please submit them HERE.
